The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the events of the third episode show why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could help the group enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to assemble the Questers and Schemers groups.

Fans can expect discovering which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
